What is my UNSW Carpools?

My UNSW Carpools is a free online carpool matching service. My UNSW Carpools lets you register a trip to see if you can find someone who wants to share the ride without having to reveal any personal details first.

Effective, safe and convenient ways of establishing carpools for regular daily commuters, has got to be part of the modern cities transport systems.

There are too many cars on the roads and fuelling them, paying tolls, parking them and maintaining them is only getting more expensive.

Share the ride with fellow staff and students, and help reduce the number of cars with which you have to share the road.

Things you need to know

  • Check with your insurance company in case they have any conditions relating to carpooling.
  • You will be asked to agree to MyCarpools having the option to trade any carbon reduction credits achieved as the result of this scheme. At the moment these credits have no value. If in the future the credits can be certified, you will be notified and will have the option of terminating your registration.
